Meet the Team
Anthony Donovan | Co-founder
I’m a filmmaker, but more than that I’m a lover of stories. I suppose that’s what drew me to film production in the first place. I graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic University in 2012 with a degree in film production. I worked on a number of award-winning student projects in my college years. Since then I’ve helped businesses, schools, couples, and families tell their stories through my craft. And these stories have helped attract clients, increase enrollment, fundraise, preserve memories and legacies, and more.
Things I love: my wife and son, craft beer (looking at you, Jai Alai), a good book, and the oxford comma.
James Thomas | Co-founder
After college I returned to South Florida to pursue my ambition of owning my own business. I grew up on a dairy farm, and I knew I wanted to choose something close to my roots. I couldn’t get any closer than opening a garden center full of plants, flowers, and trees. The following 25 years I branded myself as a Palm tree specialist using creative grassroots marketing strategies. Our nursery was known as a place for unique, “one of a kind,” top-quality Palm Trees. I enjoyed all the facets of the business from serving customers to managing staff.
What was most satisfying was being able to scale and direct my business through creative marketing and branding. I sold James Garden Center Inc. in 2017 and moved to Jacksonville to be close to family as we became new grandparents. With a creative vision, we aim to organize and promote businesses through video strategy.
Atticus Brave Donovan | Namesake & Cookie Monster
Atticus is my (Anthony’s) first and only son, and he’s James’s first and only grandson.
We named the company after him.
There are a lot of reasons we’re committed to successfully building this business. But at the top, as his dad, I want to show Atticus what it means to be brave, and I want to leave a legacy for him.
Things he loves: cookies and mowing the lawn, but especially cookies.
